Measuring employee engagement 

The Challenge

Nightcap wanted to understand what their employees really think about working in the business – especially as the business continues to grow and expand with new brands and new locations. 

Our Approach

KAM devised a 2-year programme commencing with an initial comprehensive survey, sent out by Nightcap via their employee app. The results from this led the start of changes within the business to improve employee engagement, recruitment and retention.

Six months on, the changes the business made led to a shorter pulse survey to stress test those changes and see the improvements through the eyes of the employees. One year in, and there will shortly be another full survey, and then another stress test 6  months later. All the data was made available to Nightcap via the KAM Dashboard and presented to the business within a full insight deck. 

The Outcome

The first survey enabled Nightcap to make some changes within the business and also gave them their first employee eNPS score. The subsequent survey saw some small but notable improvements to scores, including eNPS.
