KAMera- An eye on Convenience 92

Good morning,

I’m still away in India, so this week’s email will be mercifully short (but sweet, I like to think).

Indian convenience stores are, generally, pretty basic compared to their Western counterparts, and have minimal signage and promotional messaging.

With this in mind, I asked the members of KAMunity if they had bought anything that was influenced by a brand promotion or advert as they walked into the shop on their last visit to a convenience store.

Results are below- but if you’d like to know WHERE the 47% saw the influential brand promotion or advert, drop me an email and I’ll send you the results early next week!

As I finish my whirlwind trip to India this weekend, I will be spending today on a Keralan beach before attending a traditional dance ceremony at a local temple. On Saturday a trek through a tea and herb plantation and an afternoon at an Ayurvedic centre. Then on Sunday, a 7 hour train journey back to the southern tip of Kerala and one last night in Fort Cochin, taking in a night market on the way.

It’s my second time here and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Stunning country, beautiful people, fantastic food. It’s authentic, gritty and mesmerising.

Namaste,

Katy
