Apparently sparkling red wine is the next big thing. I’m yet to be convinced, but there’s no denying that the category is in growth. The drink is particularly appealing to Millennials, who are constantly searching for new, unusual options when drinking in a pub or bar.
We asked the members of KAMunity whether they would be interested in ordering a sparkling red next time they visited a pub/bar. Bit of a split camp on this one- 42% said they would, but a sizeable 58% wouldn’t even consider it.
I might buy a bottle to try over Christmas(in the name of research, of course!)- I’ll let you know how we get on!
Ah, the last weekend before Christmas! The normal chaos will be cleverly avoided as I have not only done all my Christmas shopping, but wrapped it, planned all festive food menus and put up my tree. If you believe that, you’ll believe anything.
Therefore, after a visit to Manchester tonight to see Madness, and a friend’s winter-themed wedding tomorrow, I will be spending the next two days doing everything I promise myself each year I will have done by now.
